I entered the practice in 1987 and worked as an Assistant District Attorney from October 1987 to December 1989. I started in private practice in 1990 and have been active in practice since that time.

I have had experience in other areas, as well, to give me a solid background in the general civil practice of law. Jennifer Burden is my legal assistant and I have a strong working relationship with her. She received her Paralegal degree with honors at an American Bar (ABA) approved college; Central Piedmont Community College in May 2008 in Charlotte, NC. She has worked in two law offices as a legal assistant, as well as my practice since February, 2014. The bulk of her training has been in real estate and the creation and handling of estate planning documents. She has valuable experience in these areas. Jennifer is our Notary at the firm as well.
